In Financial when we create a company and company code then we need to assign Company Code to the company. this assignment enables to establish a link between company and company code.
This assignment is required for consolidation, reporting, and legal structure alignment.

You can assign the company code using the SPRO path :
Menu Path:– SPRO –> IMG Reference –> Enterprise Structure –> Assignment –> Financial Accounting –> Assign Company Code To Company

we will follow the Menu Path to create a company code assignment to the company.
Step1: Login to sap and enter the tcode SPRO
Step2: click on SAP Reference IMG
Step3: Follow the SAP Menu Path as per below screen shot.
Step4: Click on the Position
assign the Company code which you want to update.
Step 5: System prompts the customizing request number, select the request from the list and press enter to continue to save the details.
